River Paper & Zellerbach Case Study
This was a two-day crisis intervention.
As a result of changes in business strategies, and communications breakdowns, the hundred-year-old relationship of these primary business partners was completely at risk. Neither side could talk to the other, much less solve their problems.
Using TransFormance Theatre's Multi-Modal storytelling approach, the truths of both sides' perspectives were aired and appreciated by the other side. Problem areas -- including accountabilities and timelines -- were defined and addressed, and open communication and trust were restored in a two-day offsite.
Where people had literally been unable to speak with each other, at the beginning of the meeting, by the end, they were standing with their arms around one other, singing in three-part harmony. The business relationship was fully restored, and continued to prosper.
